The curtain opened, and for the first time, VLVT became real.
After months of imagining, planning, curating, and obsessing over the details, we welcomed our guests behind the curtain for VLVT Original on September 12th. Seeing the room come alive and watching so many incredible people meet, connect, explore, and experience what we had envisioned was something neither of us will soon forget.
More than anything, we had so much fun!
There is something special about bringing together a group of people who may never have otherwise found themselves in the same room. From the first cocktails to the final moments of the night, the energy belonged as much to our guests as it did to anything we created.
To everyone who trusted us enough to be part of the very first VLVT: thank you!!
The First of Many
VLVT Original was exactly that: the original.
It was our first opportunity to take an idea that had existed largely in our heads and bring it into the real world. There were elements we absolutely loved, moments that surprised us, and, naturally, things we already know we want to push further.
VLVT was never intended to be static. Each experience should evolve from the one before it.
And we've already started.
Intimate doesn't have to be limited.
The intimacy of VLVT is something we intend to protect. We never want our experiences to feel overcrowded or out of control.
But we also learned that there's room to grow.
Going forward (and if in alignment with our guests), we'll be opening our guest list to additional qualified members, carefully expanding the room while maintaining the level of curation that makes VLVT different. More connections. More energy. More possibilities. Still deliberately intimate.
You won't recognize the room.
Whether we return to a familiar venue or take VLVT somewhere entirely new, you shouldn't recognize the space when we're finished with it.
We want the transformation itself to become part of the experience. The next time you step behind the curtain, you're not simply entering a venue. You're entering the world we've created for that particular night.
The room should disappear.
VLVT should take its place. VLVT Magic.
